playgroup Guidelines and Reminders

Please follow these simple guidelines so that all members of our community stay safe and enjoy.

  • Parents/guardians/nannies are fully responsible for their children’s safety and well-being at all times. Therefore, the use of mobile phones is prohibited inside the playgroup room.
  • Playgroup hours are from 10:00am – 12:00pm
  • If you arrive early, please wait outside the school or in @Corner.
  • To ensure the health and well-being of all children and adults, please stay at home if you or your child is feeling unwell or sick.
  • If you know you will be absent, please call 02274-3444 Ext. 5015 or email playgroup@kis.ac.th.
  • Before you leave, please help the children pick up toys and place them back in the correct boxes. Not only does this help Ms. Lynn, but it also teaches our children to pick up after themselves and to be good guests.
  • Please take care of the toys, books and puzzles. If you notice they are broken, torn or have any missing pieces then please inform Ms. Lynn. Please note that the playgroup toys are suitable for ages 18 months+.
  • Only one parent/guardian/nanny allowed per child. For safety reasons, only one adult will be able to enter the KIS grounds at the main gate. Other family members etc can wait in the comfort of @Corner. Please exchange your ID for a playgroup pass.
  • No visitors should be wandering around KIS unaccompanied.
  • Please walk directly to the playgroup room from the main entrance and leave once the playgroup has finished.

*Unfortunately, playing on the playground is not allowed at this time.

Complimentary tea and coffee is offered. Snacks provided are for the children. However, if there are leftovers, the adults may help themselves.

*Due to the large wait-lists, please note that families cannot offer their space to another family.

  • ATK test result sent 24 hrs in advance via the risk assessment form.
  • Thermal imaging check at the gate before entry.
  • Anyone with a temperature of 37.5+ will not be allowed to enter the campus.
  • Mask wearing on campus at all times is mandatory for adults and children over 2 years of age.
  • Hand washing and sanitizing before and after any/all activities.
